Welcome to Dragonfly Woodturnings. We are a Canadian family run business and invite you to share these beautiful and functional works of art that Nature helped to create. Whether you choose a salad bowl or a delicately beautiful votive holder, you can feel confident knowing that your piece is as individual as you are, because each piece has been hand turned by Canadian Artisan Dan Daly.

We use only natural oils and waxes to finish, protect, and seal all of our pieces (except where stated for some of our specialty and gallery pieces). Much of our art has been created from trees near our home that have been recently felled. Most of this wood would have been burned as fire wood or left to rot at the side of the road. Using age-old techniques, these scraps have been used to create the beautiful work that you see on these pages. All of our wood chips are regularly donated as mulch to local schools and families in order to help to protect and honour our beautiful Canadian environment.
